Roslan Mat Isa will be proudly representing Malaysia for the very first time at the World Holistic Massage Championship Competition 2025. A dedicated massage therapist in his home country, Malaysia, Roslan has built his career on a strong foundation of skill, passion, and commitment to the art of healing. His participation in this prestigious global event marks not only a personal milestone but also a proud moment for his nation, as he showcases Malaysia’s unique wellness traditions and therapeutic practices on the international stage.

My name is Roslan Mat Isa, and my journey into the world of massage and holistic therapy began long before I could truly understand its depth. Born into a family rooted in the traditions of Malay healing and traditional medicine, I was fortunate to learn the art of massage at a very young age from my mother and grandmother. Their wisdom and teachings shaped the foundation of my path, instilling in me the values of patience, care, and the sacred duty of healing.

In 2007, I took my first steps into professional practice at Rope Walk Butterworth and Uptown Sungai Petani, starting small but with great passion. Over time, my interest grew stronger, and in 2010, I founded Pondok Rawatan Nusantara (PRN), a center dedicated to holistic healing. What began as a humble space has since flourished into a recognized National Dual Training Scheme (SLDN) Accredited Center, now known as the Academy in Industry (ADI) under the Skills Development Department (JPK).

Through ADI, we provide professional training in reflexology, spa therapy, aromatherapy, massage therapy, and sunnah cupping, ensuring that the knowledge of traditional practices continues to thrive and evolve. Beyond this, I also serve as a Capacity Development Course Instructor (KPK) under Universiti Kolej MAIWP (UCMI), training students from cohort 1 to cohort 12, while also contributing over seven years of service to the Traditional & Complementary Medicine Unit at Hospital Kepala Batas, Penang.

Vision & Hope

My vision has always been clear: to elevate the art of traditional Malay and Sunnah massage to both the Malaysian and international stage, placing it alongside other renowned practices such as Thai, Balinese, and Swedish massage. These traditions are not just methods of healing; they are part of our cultural identity, passed down through generations with love, respect, and purpose.

By participating in the World Holistic Massage Championship 2025, I see an opportunity not only to showcase the unique Nusantara treatment identity but also to highlight its impact in the global health and wellness industry. This competition is more than a platform it is a bridge that connects our heritage with the world, proving that traditional Malay healing can stand tall in the modern era of wellness.

As I step onto this prestigious stage, I carry with me not only my years of training and experience but also the legacy of my family, the spirit of Malaysia, and the hope of uplifting traditional healing practices to be celebrated and respected worldwide.
