Welcome to World Massage Association Singapore Pte. Ltd. ("WMAS", "Company", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services, events, competitions, training programs, memberships, workshops, conferences, websites, registration systems, and all related activities organized or managed by the Company.
By accessing our website, registering for any event, becoming a member, participating in competitions, attending workshops, purchasing services, or engaging with our organization, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you should refrain from using our services.
2. Company Information

The Company is dedicated to promoting excellence, professionalism, education, cultural exchange, and international cooperation within the massage and wellness industry.

- Sponsorship programs

3. Eligibility
Participants, members, judges, sponsors, exhibitors, and guests must ensure that:
- They provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- They meet all eligibility requirements specified for each program or event.
- They comply with all local laws and regulations applicable in their country or region.
- They are responsible for obtaining any required licenses, certifications, permits, or visas necessary for participation.
WMAS reserves the right to reject, suspend, or cancel any registration that does not meet eligibility requirements.
4. Registration and Participation
All registrations submitted to WMAS are subject to approval.
Participants acknowledge that:
- Registration does not guarantee acceptance until officially confirmed.
- Registration fees must be paid in full before participation.
- Participants are responsible for reviewing event requirements before registration.
- Event schedules, venues, speakers, judges, and activities may be adjusted when necessary.
Failure to comply with event rules may result in disqualification or removal without refund.
5. Competition Rules
Participants in competitions organized by WMAS agree to:
- Follow all official competition guidelines.
- Respect judges, organizers, volunteers, and fellow participants.
- Maintain professional conduct throughout the event.
- Avoid any behavior that may damage the reputation of the competition or organization.
- Accept judges' decisions as final.
Any form of cheating, misconduct, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or unethical behavior may result in immediate disqualification.
WMAS reserves the right to investigate any complaints and make final determinations regarding violations.
6. Membership Terms
Members of WMAS shall:
- Maintain accurate membership information.
- Uphold professional standards within the massage and wellness industry.
- Respect the organization's values and code of ethics.
- Pay membership fees as required.
Membership may be suspended or terminated if a member engages in misconduct, unethical practices, fraudulent activity, or actions that harm the reputation of WMAS.
7. Payment Policy
All fees paid to WMAS are subject to the following conditions:
- Payments must be made through approved payment methods.
- Registration fees, membership fees, sponsorship fees, and service charges must be paid according to specified deadlines.
- Late payments may result in cancellation of participation or services.
- Additional administrative charges may apply where applicable.
All pricing is subject to change without prior notice.
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Unless otherwise stated in a specific event policy:
Participant Cancellation
- Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing.
- Approved refunds may be subject to administrative fees.
- No refunds may be granted after designated deadlines.
Event Cancellation
If WMAS cancels an event due to circumstances within its control, participants may be eligible for:
- Full refund,
- Partial refund,
- Event credit, or
- Transfer to a future event.
The Company's liability shall be limited to the amount paid directly to WMAS.
9. Sponsorship and Exhibition Terms
Sponsors and exhibitors agree to:
- Comply with all event regulations.
- Ensure promotional materials are lawful and appropriate.
- Respect venue requirements and safety regulations.
- Avoid activities that may negatively impact event operations.
WMAS reserves the right to reject or remove sponsorship materials deemed inappropriate, misleading, offensive, or inconsistent with organizational values.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
All content owned or produced by WMAS, including but not limited to:
- Logos
- Trademarks
- Event names
- Competition materials
- Educational content
- Videos
- Photographs
- Publications
- Website content
remain the exclusive property of World Massage Association Singapore Pte. Ltd.
No material may be reproduced, distributed, copied, modified, or used without prior written permission from the Company.
11. Photography and Media Consent
By participating in any WMAS activity, event, competition, workshop, seminar, or conference, participants grant permission for:
- Photography
- Videography
- Live streaming
- Interviews
- Promotional recordings
to be used by WMAS for marketing, educational, archival, publication, and promotional purposes.
No compensation shall be payable for such use unless otherwise agreed in writing.
12. Health and Safety
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit to participate in activities organized by WMAS.
Participants acknowledge that:
- Massage demonstrations and practical activities involve physical interaction.
- Certain activities may carry inherent risks.
- They participate voluntarily and at their own risk.
Participants should immediately inform organizers of any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns that may affect participation.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WMAS shall not be liable for:
- Personal injury
- Property loss
- Theft
- Travel disruptions
- Visa issues
- Accommodation problems
- Business losses
- Indirect or consequential damages
arising from participation in any WMAS activity.
Participants assume full responsibility for their own actions and decisions.
14. Force Majeure
WMAS shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, interruptions, or failures resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Pandemics
- Government restrictions
- War
- Civil unrest
- Terrorism
- Venue closures
- Transportation disruptions
- Utility failures
In such situations, WMAS may modify, postpone, relocate, or cancel events as deemed necessary.
15. Privacy and Data Protection
WMAS respects the privacy of all participants, members, sponsors, and visitors.
Personal information collected may be used for:
- Registration processing
- Membership administration
- Event management
- Communication purposes
- Certification verification
- Marketing and promotional activities
The Company will take reasonable measures to protect personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
16. Code of Professional Conduct
All individuals associated with WMAS shall:
- Demonstrate professionalism and integrity.
- Respect cultural diversity and inclusiveness.
- Avoid harassment, discrimination, and abusive conduct.
- Promote ethical practices within the massage and wellness profession.
Violation of this code may result in suspension, removal, or permanent exclusion from WMAS activities.
17. Amendments
WMAS reserves the right to amend, update, modify, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Updated versions will become effective immediately upon publication through official communication channels.
Participants are encouraged to review the latest version regularly.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
